Announcement for Abstract Submission

The Emirates Society of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (ESRSM) invites researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at the upcoming ESRSM Annual Conference, taking place in 1st & 2nd of November 2025. We welcome abstracts that highlight innovations, research findings, clinical best practices, and case studies across all areas of rehabilitation, sports medicine, physical therapy, musculoskeletal care, pain management, artificial intelligence, Sports psychiatry osteopathic medicine, and exercise science.

Key Dates:
  • Abstract Submission Opens: May 1st, 2025
  • Submission Deadline: July 1st, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: August 1st, 2025
Submission Guidelines:
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Word limit: 250 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
  • All abstracts will undergo peer review by the ESRSM Scientific Committee.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the ESRSM 2025 Conference Proceedings
  • Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation.
Structured Format of the Abstract
  • Title
    • Clear, concise, and informative. Avoid abbreviations.
  • Authors and Affiliations
    • Full names of all authors
    • Institutional affiliations and contact email of the presenting author
  • Background / Introduction
    • Brief context and significance of the study or clinical issue
    • State the purpose or objective of the work
  • Methods
    • Description of the study design, participants, setting, procedures, or intervention
    • Tools or instruments used (e.g., MRI, AI models, EMG, etc.)
  • Results
    • Key findings with data where applicable
    • Use specific metrics, outcomes, or improvements
  • Conclusion
    • Interpretation of the findings
    • Clinical or research implications
    • Brief mention of limitations if space allows
  • Keywords
    • 3 – 5 keywords relevant to the study
  • References
