ESMC 2025 Concludes at MBRU, Showcasing Global Collaboration and Innovation in Sports Medicine
The 2nd Emirates Sports Medicine Conference (ESMC 2025) concluded successfully at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Dubai, on 1–2 November 2025, bringing together a distinguished lineup of experts, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders from around the world.
Organized by the Emirates Society of Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine (ESRSM), the two-day event welcomed over 600 delegates and numerous VIP guests, including His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Her Highness Dr Noura Al Qassimi, and Her Excellency Hanan Al Mahmoud, marking another milestone in advancing sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance science in the region.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, ESMC 2025 featured 10 scientific sessions covering a wide range of topics, including football medicine, imaging and diagnostics, technology and AI in sport, injury prevention, female athlete health, pediatric performance, lower extremities, and rehabilitation.
The conference hosted a global faculty representing over 15 countries, with renowned speakers such as Prof. Babette Pluim (Netherlands), Prof. Doug Campbell (UK), Dr. Margo Mountjoy (Canada), Ed Clarke (UK), Dr. Jane Durga (Germany), and leading UAE experts Dr. Abdulla Al Rahoomi, Dr. Iman Akef Khowailed, Dr. Naima Saleh, and Dr. Kate Jordan, among many others.
