The Emirates Sports Medicine Conference, or ESMC, is a first-of-its-kind platform that brings together the sports, exercise, and medical fields to improve healthcare and the overall well-being of UAE inhabitants.
It was initiated by the Emirates Society of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (ESRSM) in 2021 and has been in line with the UAE National Agenda, emphasizing the importance of preventive medicine and reducing cancer and lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease to ensure a longer, healthier life for its citizens.
As a platform to harness the sports, healthcare and professional sports communities, this conference is expected to host between 500 - 600 attendees from the various fields in sports medicine including audiences from across various industries. Amongst the mainlined professions are:
ESMC welcomes all members of the community, including weekend warriors and fitness enthusiasts.We anticipate 60% local participants from the UAE and 40% international delegates, with a significant representation from the GCC and MENA regions.
